  • Step 1: Select an appropriate litter container. There should be enough room for your cat to turn around comfortably.
  • Step 2: Fill the litter pan to a depth of 2-3 inches, with plenty of pellets for pawing and covering.
  • Step 3: Liquid waste is absorbed from the bottom of the pan. It takes a few minutes for all the liquid to absorb.
  • Step 4: Remove the soiled pellets when they have absorbed the liquid and have fully expanded in size.
  • Step 5: Scoop solid waste from the top of the pan daily.
  • Step 6: Clean the pan thoroughly with warm water and mild detergent between litter changes.
